Small life in the silent womb
Who will hear your cry?
Are you conscious of your doom
Destined now, to die?
What’s life worth – it’s value, price?
What is less or more?
Whose then do we sacrifice
Or hasten to restore?
How much light, this little ember,
Would you give if you could choose
To live a life fit to remember?
But helpless of your choice – you lose!
Flicker of a little flame
Snuffed within the womb,
God hears your cry and feels your pain
And rescues from this tomb.
He hears you cry; He feels your pain.
His love will set you free.
O little one without a name
You’ll have eternity.
